Garrett started GK cleaning in the spring of 2017 at the age of 18.  From ages 16-18 He had worked as both an assistant caretaker at a historic Great Camp on Upper Saranac, and also as a window cleaner with another local business. In those jobs he gained valuable experience, and also truly fell in love with the area. He also noticed though that there was still a need for another window cleaning business in the area and saw room for improvement from the businesses already in the market here. So he decided to take the leap and make a go of it as an entrepreneur. With most of the savings he had he bought a little bit of equipment and used an old rusty dodge van to work out of.

The first year or so was very slow and not very profitable. All in all the business served only 10 clients that year, still though with every penny put back into the business he continued on in 2018. Relying on the same principles that motivated him to start the business ( Doing a great job, having great communication and being reliable) 

That year turned out to be much better, and Garrett saw that the business had a real chance to be successful......

 Since 2019 the business has taken off, with many satisfied customers telling friends and family we have been able to go from just 10 clients in 2017 to now over 500 clients all throughout the Adirondack park. No more rusty old Work van, now we have moved to lettered professional vehicles, no more "less than ideal equipment", now we have the best of the best when it comes to our equipment, and no more of it just being a one person business, we now have an awesome team that continues to grow. Of course there have been some hiccups and challenges along the way, but we wouldn't trade it for the world. We are truly grateful to have such a great team, to be able to meet so many fantastic clients, and to be able to enjoy the Adirondack Park every single day!
